How to connect your IBKR account

IBKR offers direct connectivity to IBviz (via Utluna). It takes 2 minutes to set it up.

  1. Go to the IBKR portal to generate your IBKR token credentials
  2. Input your token credentials in IBviz → Transactions → Linked Accounts

Generate your IBKR tokens

STEP 1

A) Log into your IBKR portal

B) Select Performance & Reports

C) Select Third-Party Reports

D) In the Third-Party Services section, click the Configure icon at the top right

STEP 2

A) Check the box next to Utluna

B) Click Save

STEP 3

A) Copy your Token and Query ID

 

Input your tokens in IBviz

STEP 1

A) Log into your IBviz account and select the portfolio to which you wish to link your IBKR account

B) Click on Transactions in the menu

C) Select the Linked Accounts tab

D) Click the Link new account button.

STEP 2

Optional: You may edit the account name for your own reference

A) Paste your Query ID and Token in the corresponding fields

B) Click the "Link new account" button

Notes

  • When an account is linked during US business hours, the initial synchronization is generally completed within two hours.
  • When linked outside of US business hours, or if certain assets traded within the account are not yet incorporated into the IBviz database, expect 1 business day for the initial sync to be completed.
  • Your account will then be automatically synchronized on a daily basis.
