Compare your performance to a benchmark

VADI — Value Added Daily Index — represents the time-weighted return of your portfolio, adjusted for deposits and redemptions. It's the IBviz equivalent of "NAV per share," and by default it's compared against the S&P 500 (SPY ETF). You can select a different benchmark at any time.

View the comparison

• Select your portfolio, go to Dashboards → Analytics, then Performance → Returns (TWR) → VADI.

Change the benchmark

• Go to Settings, find the Analytics section, click Edit next to the benchmark name, select a new one, then save.

Note: Every time you change the chart's timeframe, the benchmark is rebased to show relative over/underperformance over that period.
