Create a private asset

IBviz distinguishes between public assets — listed assets whose attributes and price history are publicly available and curated by IBviz — and private assets, such as private equity, hedge funds, real estate, or collectibles, which are created and curated by you and visible only to you.

Creating a private asset

• Go to Assets → My Private Assets, then click + New private asset.
• Fill out the form — note that Multiplier is 1 for most assets, but may differ for derivatives — then click Create a private asset.

Updating its price history

• Go to Assets → My Private Assets and click the asset's name.
• Open the Price History section and click Add new price or Import prices via CSV.
• Enter as many price points as needed.
