Create a private asset

IBviz distinguishes between public assets (listed assets whose attributes and price history are publicly available and curated by IBviz) and private assets, such as private equity, hedge funds, real estate, or collectibles, which are created and curated by you and visible only to you.

Creating a private asset

• Go to Assets → My Private Assets, then click + New private asset.
• Fill out the form (note: Multiplier is 1 for most assets, but may differ for derivatives), then click Create a private asset.

Updating its price history

• Go to Assets → My Private Assets and click the asset's name.
• Open the Price History section and click Add new price or Import prices via CSV.
• Enter as many price points as needed.
