Import transactions from a CSV file

Importing your transaction history via CSV is handy when you have a large number of transactions relating to private assets, or need to backfill history not covered by your IBKR connection.

Steps

  • Go to Dashboards → Transactions, then click Import CSV.
  • Download the template, fill it with your transaction history, save it, then select and import it.
  • Review IBviz's suggested asset mapping. If an identifier wasn't matched automatically, select the correct asset manually, then click Accept.
  • Once everything is uploaded, click Update analytics.

Note: If your file has more than 1,000 transactions, we recommend splitting it into several CSV files.
